On the 7th Feb, Joe and I set out at about 12pm to run the near on 30k, which is Two Bays.
It was meant to be a 31 degree day, however where we were it definitely hit 35 or more.
We unfortunately got lost, adding a couple of k's onto the run and a good deal of uncertainty.
The heat took its toll on us and we ran a pretty slow time, but I've got to say that I thoroughly enjoyed running alongside the White Kenyan, ripping up the trail, enjoying the freedoms of trail running, clawing our way to the top of Arthur's Seat, and narrowly missing standing on a damn snake!!
It's a great trail with some amazing views and so we must get a group together and go for another run down there sometime soon again.
